Hurricane Lisa made a landfall in Central America: floods and destructions

Hurricane Lisa was a Category 1 Hurricane which traversed the Caribbean Sea and made a landfall in Belize (Central America) on Wednesday 2/11, bringing heavy rain and thunderstorms which were combined with strong winds, resulting in severe flash flooding and coastal flooding as well as in numerous destructions.


Today, as Hurricane Lisa was heading northwestwards towards Campeche was downgraded to a Tropical Storm, but the risk for flooding is still possible. Tomorrow, Lisa will be downgraded to a tropical depression system as it will reach the Bay of Campeche.
