Big tornado hits near Milan today

A big tornado this morning hitted Cernusco sul Naviglio, a town near Milan, in the province of Lombardy. The tornado fortunately didn’t have a big duration but was reported to cause some damage. The tornado was caused by a large Mesoscale Convective System Storm which crossed Lombardy.
Today, northern Italy is affected by two different air masses, the first one is a cool North Atlantic, while the second one is a very warm sub-tropical which is bringing an exceptional heat wave over Italy with several records, even in Rome; due to climate change these extreme phenomena are becoming more often.
