Autumn scenery will take place this week across Europe as a low pressure system along with cold air masses in the upper atmosphere will bring intense rain and showers or thunderstorms accompanied by a temperature drop and snow over the Alps.
In more detail, intense rain and showers are expected in much of Europe, but especially in central and eastern where locally it will be severe between Thursday and Saturday, mainly over Italy, the Balkans and central eastern countries, while Iberia will be mostly sunny. The cold air masses will also bring snow over the Alps from Thursday to Saturday.
Temperature drop is also expected especially from Thursday and temperatures will not be over 15°C in many European cities. Maximum temperatures will reach 15°C in Berlin and Paris, 11°C in Budapest and 10°C on Saturday in Prague and Budapest.
